#WarGames is almost here.

Her Story creator Sam Barlow is almost ready to drop his next project, a reboot of the Cold War-era sci-fi classic, WarGames. It seems to ditch the original's story -- in which a young hacker breaks into a government computer and accidentally almost triggers a global war -- in favor of a more modern take.

Kelly is a young hacktivist who, along with her international team of fellow hackers, attempts to "bring about world peace," according to the latest reveal. There's also something about Kelly seeking justice for her family. Maintaining an air of mystery is part of the intent here.

What's unusual about #WarGames is there's an interactive layer to the experience. Over six episodes, viewers will be able to influence the story by switching between different video feeds. The story then "learns" from those choices, though to what end remains unclear.

It's a fitting project for Barlow, whose Her Story challenges players to piece together an apparent murder mystery using a clunky faux-computer interface to search through video clips from a number of separate but related police interrogations.

#WarGames will launch March 14 on the website and iOS app of Eko, the interactive production company behind the series, as well as Vudu and Steam. An Xbox Live release will happen at a later date.
