A Twitter scandal can be anyone's undoing, but only a special breed of politician know just how much things can unravel. Case in point: Former New York representative Anthony Weiner, who resigned from Congress over the world's preeminent dick pic.

In the Sundance-winning Weiner, directed Josh Kriegman and Elyse Steinberg, we get a closer look at the shamefaced politician – but without the explicit visuals.

After the 2012 picture that Weiner tweeted (but intended to DM), the resigned congressman ran for Mayor of New York City in 2013. The documentary, from IFC films, shows his murky campaign trail, from Weiner's colleagues losing faith to Weiner calling a potential constituent a jackass... and, of course, his second sex scandal.

The film releases in theaters on May 20 and Video-on-Demand May 26.
