In an age obsessed with comic book movies, Kick-Ass occupies a special place in the genre. The film's hero is not only unlikely, he’s downright inappropriate. And the story was adapted from page to screen far more faithfully than we've seen in most other series, since the the Kick-Ass movie rights were actually purchased before the comic was even published.
