The Wheel of Time's full Season 3 trailer is chock-full of fantasy goodness. A massive magical fight between the Aes Sedai in the White Tower! More looks at the Forsaken, like Lanfear (Natasha O'Keeffe) and Moghedien (Laia Costa)! Trolloc armies!
But that's not all the trailer has cooking. The brunt of it focuses on Rand's (Josha Stradowski) journey to the Aiel Waste alongside Moiraine (Rosamund Pike, Saltburn), Egwene (Madeleine Madden), Lan (Daniel Henney), and Aviendha (Ayoola Smart). The trailer shows glimpses of their arrival in Rhuidean, pulling from Robert Jordan's fourth book in The Wheel of Time series, The Shadow Rising. In the city, both Moiraine and Rand undergo intense trials and witness important visions.
Rand learns about the history of Aiel, with the trailer teasing Stradowski stepping into multiple roles during the flashbacks. Moiraine, meanwhile, learns that there is no future in which both she and Rand survive. With that in mind, could The Wheel of Time be losing one of its key leads by the end of the season?
