Stephen Colbert's mission is to truly know Will Ferrell, but some people clearly cannot be fully known.
In the clip above the Late Show host gives the You're Cordially Invited star his trademark "Colbert Questionert" asking about everything from the scariest animal ("Penguin," responds Ferrell. "You know the old saying, never turn your back on a penguin.") to his favorite action movie (Sense and Sensibility is Ferrell's immediate response).
The highlight? An impromptu but welcome rendition of Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up."
