We've all had "one of those days" but accidentally driving your car into and ruining the start of a marathon is up there on the list of embarrassing things that can happen.

Just as the gun went off to signal the start of the Prince Edward Island Marathon on Sunday, an older woman mistakenly pulled right up to the starling line, unaware that hundred of runners were about to come her way.

Despite having a green light, the woman stopped her car and the racers had to awkwardly run around her vehicle, ruining just about every photo in the process.

Nobody was injured in the process, aside from the driver's ego.
