Researcher Renata Leite Pitman at the Los Amigos Biological Station in Peru recently horrified everyone around her when she tackled a 6-foot-long snake like it was a totally normal thing to do.
Pitman captured the snake for research purposes, and it was unharmed in the take down, but it sure looked awesome as she took down the slithering beast. Clearly, the horrified and impressed people around her agreed.
Amanda Klass, who was behind the camera when the tackle occurred, says that the snake is a yellow tailed cribo. Although the snake is not venomous, it's incredibly powerful with a strong bite.
