This one isn't for those who are easily unsettled by bodily functions.

Neville Sharp from the town of Humpty Doo (that's amazing in itself), located in the Northern Territory, Australia, has just unofficially broken the world record for the loudest burp, set by UK man Paul Hunn in 2009, which was 109.9 decibels.

Sharp has gone one better, recording a 110.6 decibel burp on Tuesday for the NT News. That's louder than a motorcycle or a rock concert, by the way. He prepares for his big belches with a can of Coke or a glass of cold iced water, the latter being the most effective for him, according to the newspaper.

Unfortunately, his record won't be recorded into the Guinness Book of World Records just yet, as he'll need to have it formally tested, but at least he made front page news in Australia.
