Finally! After months of reshoots, the latest chapter in the X-Men saga appears to be on its way.

The second trailer for Simon Kinberg's Dark Phoenix hit the web Wednesday night, providing a preview of the tense battle our favorite band of mutants will face in the complicated new chapter. (You can check out the first trailer here.)

Picking up in 1992 after the events of X-Men: Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix follows the X-Men as they attempt to defuse the rapidly growing and increasingly erratic powers of friend-turned-foe Jean Grey, played by Sophie Turner. Based on the trailer? We say... Yeah, good luck with that.

Turner stars alongside James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Evan Peters, and Jessica Chastain.

Dark Phoenix is in theaters June 7.
