"Yesterday, everyone knew The Beatles. Today, only Jack remembers their songs. He’s about to become a very big deal."

Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle and Love Actually writer Richard Curtis are teaming up to deliver Yesterday, a romantic comedy starring Himesh Patel and Lily James in a world where The Beatles never existed. The project's first trailer? As bananas as it sounds.

When struggling singer-songwriter Jack (Patel) awakes after a freak biking accident, he discovers he is the only person on Earth who remembers The Beatles (and their massive archive of recognizable hits).

Using their music, Jack then rockets towards fame, hangs with a self-parodying Ed Sheeran, and grapples with his magical bout of plagiarism.

Yesterday is in theaters June 28.
