Representatives from 3M were at SXSW to show off some new designs, such as a virtual human avatar that SXSW guests can interact with for advice.
On Friday, Katie Quinn of NowThis News caught up with Glenn Carter, head of innovation for 3M.
"A lot of trends that are going on right now are really the blend of the digital with the physical," Carter told Quinn.
