Last December, Alan Rickman lent his legendary voice to a video of a tortoise eating a strawberry.

It sounds odd, but when you watch the video it makes a lot more sense: Rickman was working with Save the Children and Refugee Council to create a viral video that would help raise money for the two charities.

Rickman died on Thursday at the age of 69 -- but, like his legendary screen presence, his other work and projects live on.

By watching the video above, you can celebrate Rickman and help raise money for refugees at the same time.

"It works like this," rumbles Rickman's voice in the video. "The more views the video gets, the more advertising revenue YouTube will give us.

"Together, you and this tortoise can make a difference."
