Apple is on pace to ship its 700 millionth iOS device next month, CEO Tim Cook revealed during the company's press event on Tuesday.
Cook had previously noted in January that Apple had sold more than 500 million iOS devices, suggesting that Apple has increased the number of iOS devices by nearly 50% in a matter of months.
By comparison, Google announced earlier this month that it has passed one billion Android device activations.
