Sen. Bernie Sanders dropped the mic at a Democratic debate Sunday night.

"We are, if elected president, going to invest a lot of money into mental health, and when you watch these Republican debates, you know why," Sanders said to laughter and applause.

Sanders was referring to Thursday's Republican debate hosted by Fox News, which devolved into a discussion over the size of Donald Trump's penis.

"He hit my hands. Nobody has ever hit my hands," Trump said of a comment Sen. Marco Rubio made about the size of Trump's hands. "Are they small hands? And he referred to my hands — if they’re small something else must be small. I guarantee you there’s no problem, I guarantee you."

The GOP debate also got away from the moderators on multiple occasions, after nearly all of the Republican candidates on stage yelled over one another.

Despite some testy moments, Sunday's Democratic debate in Flint, Michigan, focused largely on policy — including how to address the water crisis in Flint, as well as education and trade policy.
