LONDON -- Kingston Police have released video footage of a bystander casually sticking his foot out to trip a man running away from two police officers in London.
Kingston Police tweeted the clip along with a thank you message to the unknown helper.

The person fleeing was a 17-year-old suspected drug dealer, according to ITV.
A Scotland Yard spokesperson told ITV that officers had been made aware of two males dealing drugs in Kingston last Saturday night.
"The males left prior to the arrival of police but one of them was stopped by police near to the scene," they said. "Officers attempted to speak to the male who then made off.
"With the help of a member of the public he was detained a short time later."
