David Cameron tells tube knife attacker: 'You ain't no Muslim, bruv'

LONDON -- The prime minister has adopted the on-point putdown from an eyewitness directed at a man who carried out a knife attack in a tube station over the weekend has been adopted.

David Cameron, who was in the midlands giving an update on weekend flooding, told reporters the man who shouted "you ain't no Muslim, bruv," at the attacker said it better than he ever could.

The bystander's comment surfaced in footage that was uploaded to social media shortly after the attack on Saturday night.

On Sunday, #YouAintNoMuslimBruv was trending in the UK and the United States. It's been used to condemn extremists and support the millions of Muslims who don't want their religion used as an excuse for terrorism.
