Keep the dream of '90s Nickelodeon alive.

Now that the favorite shows of our childhood are back on TV, it's time to go full throttle on our '90s nostalgia and revisit some of our favorite toys. But you don't have to cruise eBay to find them -- just pop down to the local grocery store for some simple ingredients.

The infamously slimey substance known as Gak got all over our walls, carpets and clothes when we were kids, and now it's time to pass on the tradition.

Go ahead; relive your childhood.

Materials:

2 bottles of 4 oz. all-purpose school glue

1 teaspoon of Borax

Half a cup of water

Food coloring

A plastic cup

A bowl

A spoon

Pour both bottles of your glue into your bowl. Don't worry if you get glue on your hands; you can always have the pleasure of peeling it off later like you did in second grade.

Drop your food coloring into your glue and stir. Start with 5-10 drops at first until you get the first saturation that you want -- you don't want to overdo it (or maybe you do).

Take a teaspoon of Borax, which you can find in the laundry and cleaning aisle of your local grocery store, and pour it into half a cup of warm (not quite hot) water. Stir with a clean spoon until the Borax is completely dissolved.

Now, you'll likely have a huge box of leftover Borax, which is also very useful for boosting your usual cleaning routine. Or you can just make a ton of Gak. Your choice.

Incorporate your Borax mixture into your glue slowly. You might not need all of it. You can stir it or mix with your hands.

As you incorporate your Borax mixture, your Gak will become less sticky and more pliable. It might be a little stringy at first, but don't fret. Just massage the Gak until it's a little goopier and all the stickiness is gone.

It might break apart -- it's supposed to do that. Just stick it back together! Have fun with it.
