Fresh off their success with the Twitter bot that changes hearts to poop, the folks at Fusion are back with another piece of technical wonderment meant to make our daily slogs on Twitter dot com just a bit more sensical.
Enter @TrumpRetweeps, a Twitter bot that tweets the bio of every user retweeted by @RealDonaldTrump. It was conceived last week after the GOP presidential frontrunner retweeted a neo-Nazi named @WhiteGenocideTM.

"A name that offensive is hard to miss, but what about everyone else Trump retweets?" Daniel McLaughlin, the Fusion writer who created the bot writes, adding that it was created with the intention "to better understand the company he keeps."
So far the account's tweeted the bios of political journalists (a writer at Mic News, a workplace reporter for the New York Times), a fed-up "middle of the road conservative" and a "regular joe with a regular job."
Sometimes, you'll learn, he even retweets himself (there's nothing wrong with self-love).

The Fusion writer adds that if you follow both @TrumpRetweeps the bot and the candidate's account you'll see the retweeted user's bio in your timeline after each retweet, providing that much-needed context. "With many in the Republican establishment baffled as to just who Trump’s supporters are, we think that’s a pretty useful service," he says.
