Round 2: Eva Longoria is on fire.

The actress, producer and philanthropist -- who is the latest ambassador for glasses brand, Specsavers -- is in an all-out Twitter war with an Australian journalist.

First, Sydney Morning Herald lifestyle reporter Jenna Clarke wrote a column over the weekend calling Longoria "shameless," due to the supposed fact Longoria doesn't wear spectacles and should not be "selling out" by promoting Specsavers. For an extra dose of spite, she also said Desperate Housewives is for old people.

"We had Eva Longoria, the star of Desperate Housewives (don't remember it? Ask your nan about how popular it was like a decade ago) in town representing a budget eyewear chain, but according to photographers that have been snapping her for close to 15 years — she doesn't wear spectacles," she wrote.

Next, the feisty Longoria -- who is currently in Sydney, Australia -- wrote back on Monday, with her own set of digs, including calling Clarke "just a lifestyle journalist" and advising her to brush up on her googling skills.

"The reason your lazy journalist research of ‘googling’ didn’t turn up pictures of me on the 'red carpet' is because I don’t need glasses to see far, only to READ," Longoria wrote in a post on Instagram and Twitter.

"So next time you want to write an article calling someone 'shameful' why don’t you do your research because that is your responsibility as a 'journalist' and the Sydney Morning Herald should hold you to that 'high' standard even though you are just the Lifestyle journalist."

After the A-List response, the Herald added a small correction to the article: "Longoria has explained on Instagram she has worn glasses for reading since 2013." It seemed to be somewhat settled. Until, Clarke did a radio interview Wednesday morning.

"This story is blown out of proportion! Didn't appreciate her sticking her 7mil followers on2 me"@jennamclarke on @EvaLongoria's spat! #96fm— 96FM Breakfast (@96fmBreakfast) July 29, 2015

This statement upset Longoria, who believes Clarke should be thankful for the attention she is receiving due to her incorrect story. "Wow! MissingThePoint!" the actress exclaimed on Twitter with a link to a WhoSay post.

It seems Longoria just wants an apology, but so far Fairfax Media has not commented publicly on the shemozzle. Mashable Australia has contacted the company for comment.

"@wking530: @EvaLongoria How long does it take to step forward, admit your mistake, and apologize?" @smh @jennamclarke— Eva Longoria (@EvaLongoria) July 28, 2015

Longoria also had praise for the Inquisitr, who had syndicated the article, for deleting it from its website. The moral: Don't take on a celebrity who can see you clearly.
