A giant squirrel stalking Hillary Clinton on her nationwide book tour finally got his nut.
Hillary Clinton approached a giant squirrel -- which is really an intern inside a squirrel suit that is sponsored by the Republican National Committee -- outside of CNN’s "town hall meeting" Tuesday afternoon and gave him a signed copy of "Hard Choices," her new book.
"Hello, Mr. Squirrel, how are you?" she said, according to CNN Political Ticker, before handing it a signed copy of the book.
“I hope that you will make the hard choice and read my book," she said. "But you bring a smile to a lot of people's face."
"Thank you, Mr. Squirrel," she added. "Thank you so much."
A Twitter account associated with the mascot, whose slogan is "Another Clinton in the White House is NUTS!," later tweeted a photo of the signed book, thanking the former secretary for "feeding the squirrel."
