Black churches are burning again in America.

Recent fires at black churches in the South have brought back dark memories from America's past. Authorities determined that at least three were arson.

The church fires began in the days after a white supremacist was arrested for the murder of nine black parishioners at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina, and though officials haven't classified any of the fires as hate crimes, many believe they were set intentionally to intimidate black communities.
