Hurricane Arthur, the first named storm of the 2014 Atlantic hurricane season, reached Category 2 before it began to head back out to sea off the coast of Virginia Beach, VA. Hurricane Arthur's giant eye, 30 miles wide, made landfall in North Carolina Thursday night — appropriately enough, at Cape Lookout. It's expected to pass by Massachusetts later this evening.
