A new Indian cover of the Star Wars theme uses traditional instruments to pay a soulful musical tribute to the legendary score by John Williams.

The cover includes some of the most famous pieces from the Star Wars movies. Besides the main theme, there is "The Force Awakens" theme, "Cantina Song", "The Imperial March", "Dual of Fates" and the "Jedi Code".

The adaption is the work of the Indian Jam Project, a collaborative fusion music platform that combines western and Indian classical music. It has been arranged and composed by founder Tushar Lall, using instruments such as the keyboard, harmonium, sitar, flute, tabla and ghungroo. The project has previously performed covers of the themes of the Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Interstellar, Sherlock and Pirates of the Caribbean.
