For weeks, the Israeli military and Hamas fighters have been engaged in a bloody fight that so far has cost the lives of more than 800 Palestinians and at least 38 Israelis.
On Friday, the two sides agreed to a 12-hour truce starting Saturday at 7 a.m. local time.
