Mitt Romney's Son Tweets Photo After Car Wreck Rescue

What's the only thing left to do after rescuing four people from a car accident? Pose for a picture with the wrecked car and post it on Twitter, of course.

That's what 2012 presidential candidate Mitt Romney's son, Josh Romney, did. The real estate developer from Salt Lake City shared the following photo and tweet to his nearly 20,000 followers Friday morning.

Was first on scene to big accident, see pic of car in the house. I lifted 4 people out to safety. All ok. Thankful. pic.twitter.com/j8aDzFZwla— Josh Romney (@joshromney) November 29, 2013

Romney went into further details about the incident on his Facebook page, in a post that doesn't appear to be publicly viewable.

The Salt Lake Tribune reported an accident occurring Thursday night in the same location Romney described. The Tribune's story included a photo of a scene that appears to match Romney's tweet.

Romney received a number of replies to his tweet, ranging from congratulatory to critical.

@joshromney Great job Josh.— Eldon Elledge (@eelledge) November 29, 2013

@joshromney @Calculator60 And why are you smiling like a tourist at such a horrific scene? #photofail— Laila Yuile (@lailayuile) November 29, 2013

Born in 1975, Josh Romney is the third of Mitt and Ann Romney's five children.
