Prepare to see dinosaurs like you've never seen them before -- which shouldn't be difficult. It has been almost 20 years since Steven Spielberg first amazed audiences with authentic looking Brontosauruses, Velociraptors and a giant T-Rex. Now the original Jurassic Park is coming back to theaters, this time in 3D.
The film is set for an April 5, 2013, release date. The original debuted in 1993. At the time of its release, Jurassic Park's special effects were considered revolutionary. It won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects in 1994.
Based on a book by Michael Crichton, the film's stars include Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Richard Attenborough. Five-time Academy Award winner John Williams composed the score. Check out the full-length trailer above and poster below, both released Thursday by Universal Pictures.
