The King Cobra, while not the most venomous snake in the world, still has enough venom in a single bite to kill 20 people.

Imagine knowing that and dealing with the fact that your neighbor's 8-foot-long King Cobra escaped and nobody can find it. That's what residents of Orlando are dealing with this week.

The snake's owner happens to be Mike Kennedy, the host of the Discovery show Airplane Repo. Officials say that Kennedy has the correct permits to own the King Cobra, though according to WESH Orlando, his failure to immediately report the snake's escape could result in criminal penalties.

The King Cobra can become very aggressive when cornered, so wildlife officials are warning residents to keep an eye out for the snake and report any sightings, but not to approach it.

Escaped elephant-killing snakes: just another fun and cool aspect of living in the sunshine state.
