LONDON -- There probably aren't many things in this world that can't be improved with the introduction of kittens, and rugby is certainly no exception.

To tie in with the Rugby World Cup, New Zealand comedy duo Jono and Ben decided to recreate the highlights of the France vs. New Zealand game with one crucially furry difference: instead of humans, the players were two teams of equally baffled looking kittens, and the "ball" was a small wind-up toy mouse.

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));No kitten around here...This is Prance vs The All Cats in The Kitten World Cup.Posted by Jono and Ben on Friday, October 23, 2015

"Prance" vs. "The All Cats" started with what looked to be widespread confusion.

Eventually the game settled down a bit, and the tries started to come.

As with most rugby games, things got scrappy at some stages.

Meanwhile, the All Cats' coach followed the game intently from the sidelines.

We think it's very, very important for the world of sport that kitten rugby becomes a permanent fixture in the calendar.
