A black labrador puppy was running around on the frozen parts of Lake Erie in Cleveland, when she caught the local coast guard's attention. The dog had been trapped on ice for several days, and rescue teams tried but failed to get her to safety on Thursday.
Luckily, the pooch, named Kimberly, was finally rescued Friday by search crews on a boat. According to NBC News, Kimberly is now safe and sound with her owner. (At least she got a boat ride out of the ordeal.)
This little pup will definitely be staying in the yard next time it snows.
