Motorola Announces Droid Razr M Phone for Verizon

Motorola on Wednesday announced during a press event in New York City a series of new smartphones, including the Droid Razr M which will run on Verizon Wireless.

This 4.3-inch device -- 960 x 540 resolution -- will run on Android 4.1 Ice Cream Sandwich. Under the hood, it packs a dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon processor. It boasts NFC capabilities, 1GB of RAM and a 2,000 mAh battery, which has enough power to stream 20 hours of music on a single charge. Other features include a 8MP rear camera with 1080p video capture, HD video, 4G LTE speed, a built-in Chrome browser, Google Maps and voice actions.

"It's perfect for your hand, with an edge-to-edge display," Motorola said. "Normally, a great price means you are buying last year's technology. Normally, a great price means you are making big compromises."
