A real-life high-speed chase in the Mystery Machine? Zoinks!

This past Sunday in Redding, California, a woman evaded the authorities in a brightly colored van painted to resemble the famous Scooby-Doo vehicle.

Redding.com reports that police were initially searching for 51-year-old Sharon Kay Turman because they suspected she violated her probation.

Turman later fled from police -- including the California Highway Patrol and Shasta County Sheriff's Office -- at speeds exceeding 100 mph in the 1994 teal and green Chrysler Town and Country minivan.

According to the report, Turman was driving “without concern for other motorists,” almost colliding with four other vehicles after running a red light.

After the chase began to wind down, a California Highway Patrol helicopter saw Turnman abandon her minivan in nearby Tehama County and her whereabouts are currently unknown.
