Sony released an extensive amount of information about the PlayStation 4 on Wednesday, including the games players can grab on console release day.
There are 21 launch titles in all, a mix of Sony-published games, third-party titles and indie games. While Sony has previously released a list of games available in "launch window" -- that is, a couple months after the console becomes available -- these are the games that will be available Nov. 15.
Two huge games that have dropped from the launch period are Driveclub, a Sony-published realistic racer the company spent large portions of its February announcement and its E3 event on, and Watch Dogs, Ubisoft's open-world hacking game. Watch Dogs has been delayed until next spring by Ubisoft, which said it needed more time to work on the game.
That leaves Sony with two large first-party titles, though it has filled its lineup with re-releases of older games as well. PS3 hits Flower and Sound Shapes will be available on PS4, free to those who already purchased them on PS3 or Vita through the PlayStation Network.
Many of the launch titles are also not exclusives to PS4 or even next generation consoles. Some will have already been out on current generation consoles for more than a month.
