That's right. The man himself, Prince, is on his way Down Under in one of the most out-of-the-blue touring announcements ever seen.

The acclaimed pop artist behind hits such as Purple Rain, 1999, and Raspberry Beret announced the Australia and New Zealand tour on his Twitter page Friday, with it to take place in the same month. Talk about whirlwind.

It will be part of Prince's solo Piano & A Microphone Tour, which was meant to begin last November in Europe, but was postponed indefinitely due to the Paris attacks. Details on cities and dates are yet to be confirmed by touring company Dainty Group, according to its website.

The last time Prince visited Australia was in 2012, with stadium concerts in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Let's go crazy.
