The Baltimore Ravens said Tuesday morning that the team would offer an exchange for Ray Rice jerseys at stadium stores.
The announcement comes one day after the Ravens cut Rice and the NFL suspended him indefinitely after a surveillance video, posted on TMZ, showed the running back knocking out his then-fiancé in an Atlantic City casino elevator.

The jersey exchange has precedent.
The New England Patriots in July offered a free jersey exchange of all Aaron Hernandez jerseys that were purchased at its stores "for a new Patriots jersey of comparable value."
Hernandez, the team's star tight end, was arrested and charged with murder.
“We know that children love wearing their Patriots jerseys, but may not understand why parents don’t want them wearing their Hernandez jerseys anymore,” said New England Patriots spokesperson Stacey James at the time. “We hope this opportunity to exchange those jerseys at the Patriots ProShop for another player’s jersey will be well received by parents.” The exchange wound up costing the team $250,000.
The move also came as a FOX Sports reporter tweeted that EA Sports would remove Ray Rice from its Madden '15 game as part of an upcoming update.
The Ravens organization has yet to offer any more details.
