LONDON -- Sam Smith is really chuffed with his new waxwork.

The Grammy Award winner hit up Madame Tussauds in San Francisco Monday and was kissing his waxy effigy, snapping selfies, and telling fans "feel free to touch my wax bum".

Smith bombarded his social followers with images from the day, saying: "Sorry for so many pics this is just so sick!!!!"

The 23-year-old singer says he sat for about four hours with a team of Madame Tussauds artists but then lost weight and had to pose again, the Associated Press reports.

Smith's song "Stay With Me" won Grammys for song and record of the year and he also was named best new artist in February. The singer's In the Lonely Hour was named best pop vocal album.

It's safe to say he seems more excited about this new statue than any others though.
