Kissing couples and rainbow flags were printed on Saturday's front pages around the country following the Supreme Court decision to allow same-sex marriage.
"Supreme Joy," wrote the Hartford Courant while the New York Times marked the momentous occasion with this stirring headline: "Equal Dignity." For the San Francisco Chronicle, an image of City Hall basking in the shadow of a rainbow flag dominated the top of the fold.
