Break out the menorah and make sure your dreidel game is on point.

That's right, it's Hanukkah time.

When the festival of lights starts the evening of Dec. 6, you will want to have traditional sufganiyot (jelly stuffed donuts) on hand to celebrate.

Or you could avoid the hassle of oil burns and smoke traditional donuts often cause and try this marshmallow and chocolate stuffed version.

It's all about sugary biscuit dough, melty filling and a final sprinkling of graham cracker crumbs.

Even if you don't celebrate Hanukkah, you'll want to have these treats on hand.

Your dreidel might get a little marshmallow goo on it, but it's a small price to pay for such a delicious treat.

Never fear, The Basic Kitch is here. Simple recipes, step-by-step demos and a little Mashable twist to make sure you're paying attention.

First you get the dough.

Then you add the filling.

Butter and sugar (of course), and the toaster oven will do the rest!
