LOS ANGELES -- Yep, it looks about as good as it sounded: Spider-Man and his fellow Avengers, battling in New York City together. Like it was in the same movie. Like it was always meant to be.
In this video mashup that first appeared on ScreenCrush, created by supercut maestro Sleepy Skunk, we get a taste of what that dynamic might look like, just days after Sony and Marvel/Disney announced a partnership to share the character across film franchises.
Granted, this is just footage of The Avengers mixed with some The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but there's something about adding that red-and-blue Spidey suit to the color palette that just looks ... right.
We can't wait to see it for real, when Captain America: Civil War comes out May 6, 2016. (That date isn't official, but come on. We know).
