Star Wars: The Force Awakens has taken the fashion empire by storm this year.

From Bobby Abley's Spring 2016 collection, which featured over-the-top character-inspired statement pieces, and Alvarno's Spring 2016 bedazzled Darth Vader helmet sweater, the most anticipated movie of the year has seemingly taken over all aspects of our consumer lives.

Taking cues from the fashion world and focusing on some of the most beloved characters, we created six Star Wars inspired outfits that will make you look like you came from a galaxy far, far away -- or at least give you a good excuse to avoid cosplay.

1. Chewbacca

There's something about the ease and simplicity of looking good wearing fur -- at least for Chewbacca.

Channel everyone's favorite Wookiee by pairing the furriest brown coat you own with a pair of black pants and faux fur detailed shoes.

Not only will you look like Han Solo's legendary co-pilot, but you will stay warm while waiting in line to get inside the theater.

2. Darth Vader

Come to the dark side -- we have leather.

Taking a cue from the runway, we've created a virtually all-leather outfit to represent the world's worst dad, Darth Vader.

While an all-black outfit would easily do the trick when taking inspiration from the Sith Lord, add pops of red to draw attention to your outfit while subtly hinting at the color of Darth Vader's lightsaber.

3. Han Solo

Arguably every girl's galaxy crush, it's only fitting that we include an outfit inspired by the Millennium Falcon scoundrel, Han Solo.

Pair a light pink sweater with a black vest and navy pants for the ultimate Rebel Alliance leader look.

And don't forget your riding boots when you channel the smuggler-turned-hero at the movies Dec. 18.

4. C-3PO

Forget protocol when taking inspiration from this gold droid -- wearing all gold to the Star Wars premiere will make you one of the chicest humanoids in the theater.

You might not be fluent in over six million forms of communication, but pairing a golden bodycon dress with metallic gold accessories shows that you understand at least one -- the language of fashion.

5. R2-D2

It's hard to resist the appeal of the blue, white and silver robot that beeped his way into our hearts in 1977.

R2-D2 is perhaps the simplest character to channel -- hues of royal blue paired with one or two white details creates the perfect movie premiere outfit.

Bonus points if you wear the R2-D2 Mickey Mouse ears from Disneyland. They might not be fashionable, but they sure are cute.

6. Padmé Amidala (R.I.P.)

Why Padmé instead of Princess Leia? Because at 14-years-old, Queen Amidala escapes her occupied planet and then turns right back around to save her people -- totally badass for a teenager.

But that's not to say that Leia doesn't exhibit her mother's courage and determination throughout the Star Wars films. She does, several dozen times.

Nevertheless, pay homage to Queen Padmé at the movie premiere with a hardcore neutral look -- reminiscent of her outfit at the Battle of Geonosis.

This look could easily double for a Princess Leia-inspired outfit, assuming you put your hair in side buns.

If all else fails, with Star Wars products predicted to generate more than $5 billion by next year, you can easily walk into the nearest retail store and grab a Star Wars graphic tee to show off at the premiere.
