Fall is in full swing.

As the sun approaches the winter solstice, leaves are transforming to vibrant shades of yellows and reds. Deciduous trees lose their leaves in autumn because with the shortened days, they don't receive enough sunlight to provide the leaves with food (chlorophyll). Leaves are naturally shades of orange and yellow, so when the greening chlorophyll stops flowing, the trees produce a red pigment instead.

'Tis the season of beautiful colors. Feast your eyes on these mesmerizing landscapes shot from the air.
