In preparation for our awesome partnership with indie band Good Old War, we asked you to tweet us a technology love story in 140 characters, and that you did.

We received tons of creative responses, but here are some of our favorites.

Some people called out dating apps

It started with a Tinder swipe Then a Facebook profile like Snapchatting without a lag Looking for a wedding hashtag #TechLoveStoryPromo

Others wrote about their real-life love stories

I met a gal. Too shy to say hi I paged her and typed in 07734. What a dork. Been married for 19. #TechLoveStoryPromo pic.twitter.com/wXt0eLBJaj

Many were very poetic with their responses

A sacrifice only told to the trolls all alone, we're bound by linear code. I hold out as gamers fold...#techlovestorypromo

#TechLoveStoryPromo Why so much rust on these old beating valves of mine? I need a spark to reach my full potential.

Cannot see you but I can reach you. Air is static but I can feel your heart. Sing to you through data though far apart. #TechLoveStoryPromo

And a few told us why they heart their tech

I love technology because it helps me feel less alone by connecting me with people worldwide who feel the way that I do. #TechLoveStoryPromo
