Team USA made futbol history on Monday when Clint Dempsey scored the first goal of the World Cup game. Then, John Brooks became an American hero when his tie-breaking goal earned the U.S. a win against longtime nemesis Ghana. Ghana knocked the U.S. team out of the World Cup in 2006 and 2010.
