An ingenious supermarket in New Zealand has come up with a brilliant, time-saving idea.

If you hate chopping vegetables until the cows come home, this is going to make you feel all warm and fuzzy. The New World supermarkets in Hamilton and Tauranga sell pre-cut vegetables in bulk bins, in the hope of making eating healthy even more convenient.

The owner of the store in Hamilton, Chris Grace, told Stuff.co.nz it is good for the oldies, young professionals in a rush and those who want to spend more time at the dinner table with the family instead of preparing the meal. So pretty much everyone.

"It eliminates any waste. They can pick out exactly how much they want of the different types, mushrooms, or courgettes or cucumbers or whatever, and the other factor is they don't have to go through the physical exercise of cutting up pumpkins or cauliflowers," he said.

Superb.

NEW WORLD you awsome supermarket this is so cool I'd defs go for this even thought it's probably 10x expensive pic.twitter.com/NF5eobr1fF— • †ori • (@iStan4LadyGaga) November 16, 2015

The veggies are rotated every three days, and sell for NZ$9.99 ($6.56) a kilogram. Fresh and somewhat of a bargain. We demand this royal treatment in every supermarket in the world.
