A wild boar in Germany has decided to take up a more civilized lifestyle by moving in with a herd of eight cows.

A cattle farmer named Dirk Reese told the dpa news agency that the boar has been living with the herd for two months. Reese has even nicknamed it "Banana."

The cows have adopted Banana as one of their own, Reese says, and has become something of a local celebrity.

It's clear in these photographs that Banana is undergoing a My Fair Lady-esque status change, and will probably soon travel back to the forest to teach its pig brothers the higher culture of cows.

Just remember your roots, Banana.
