Artist Creates Detailed Post-Zombie-Apocalypse Map of Seattle

If you live in Seattle and you're worried about the zombie apocalypse -- and let's face it, according to Hollywood you probably should be -- it's your lucky day. A local artist has created a doomsday map of Seattle, including all the zombie-infested areas, collapsed buildings and survivor hideouts.

The watercolored map is extremely detailed. It comes with the "Dee Dee’s Doomsday Guide to Surviving in Post-Apocalyptic Seattle" as well, a survival guide that reveals "all the secrets to surviving in Post Seattle, including lore, rumors, and reliable information about each and every neighborhood of Seattle," says Dowler in his Kickstarter page. With that and the foldable map, you have a chance to avoid becoming zombie breakfast.

The map was created by Tony Dowler using a an image taken from Google Maps as a guide. For a year, Dowler woke up at 6 a.m. three days a week and painted for an hour, thinking it would take him three weeks, it took him almost a year.

Want one? You are not the only one. Dowler launched a Kickstarter to print copies of his map, asking for $1,500. He ended up getting $18,386.
