Curtis Jackson, a.k.a. 50 Cent, has a new TV show on his hands.

The rapper and businessman is developing, starring and executive producing a new series called 50 Cent Presents with network A&E. It'll be a sketch comedy, music and showcase series, according to a press release.

"I grew up watching variety shows and am excited to put my own spin on the format," he said Thursday in a statement. "I hope everyone is ready to bring their talent forward, I want to show the world the best of the best."

Jackson will be the host, and the show will include "standup, reality experiments, music, magic, dance and celebrity guest appearances."

"Leaning into A&E's legacy in showcasing the arts, we're setting out to redefine the traditional variety show," says Elaine Frontain Bryant, A&E's executive vice president and head of programming, in a statement. "50 Cent is the perfect partner to refresh this classic format."

This isn't 50's first time in the TV world. He also stars in and produces the Starz series Power, about a rich, corrupt nightclub owner in New York City.
