Handing out Valentine's Day cards to your classmates is the highlight of the day for any second grader. Well, except maybe for the whole candy part.

Redditor mack3r shared a photo of his blind daughter's heart shaped Valentine's Day cards, which she created using braille, a system of writing which uses raised dots for the visually impaired.

Mack3r explains that each letter also includes a print version of its message, so that the kids in the class know what's written in braille.

Redditors were quick to praise mack3r for his spot-on parenting skills, including someone who is blind.
