What's more exciting than voting in the midterm elections? Seeing a candidate you're there to vote for while you're at the polls.

Pamela Aguirre, a 77-year-old Texas resident who voted in El Paso on Tuesday, got to experience this thrill first-hand, according to MSNBC. While she was casting her vote for Rep. Beto O'Rourke (who is running for U.S. Senate against incumbent Sen. Ted Cruz,) O'Rourke himself walked into her polling place to cast his own vote.

Aguirre, who brought her oxygen tank with her to the polls and was wearing a "Beto for Senate" shirt, saw the candidate for Senate and got very emotional.

"I wasn't expecting it," Aguirre tearfully told MSNBC in a touching video. "We think he's pretty important and we're honored that he was here."

When asked why she chose to support O'Rourke at the polls, Aguirre told the reporter, "Because he represents everything that Donald Trump isn't."

She added that a win for O'Rourke would mean "everything" to her and to those voting for him.

"We want him to win," she said. "It'll mean just so much. It will mean that — my gosh, we all still have a chance to have a decent country and decent values with decent relationships."

Aguirre said she'll be watching the television closely tonight, in the same city as O'Rourke, waiting to learn the results of the election.

Texas polls are set to close at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. EST, per Politico. Until the results come in, let's all cherish this sweet video of Aguirre reflecting on her voting experience.
