'A Star Is Born' is responsible for the greatest memes of 2018

The trailer for A Star is Born dropped in June, and in the months since, it's been viewed more than 8.4 million times. And as with anything that's been viewed more than 8.4 million times, it's become excellent fodder for memes.

Oscar buzz has been circling Bradley Cooper's 2018 remake of A Star is Born in which he stars opposite Lady Gaga. Numerous critics gave it rave reviews following a screening at the Toronto International Film Festival, but they aren't the only ones who can't stop talking about it.

People have become obsessed with the movie trailer, spawning roughly a zillion memes. There's even a Twitter account that curates them.

And to be fair, the trailer is...incredible. There's so much packed into its two minutes and 24 seconds. There's passion! There's original music! There's a sun-burned Cooper! There's an emotionally charged (and extremely catchy) song sung by a mesmerizing Gaga! It's all just so meme-worthy.
