Christina Grimmie’s tragic and unexpected death on June 10 has shaken family, friends, fans and vocal coaches on The Voice.

Amongst an outpouring love and disbelief from celebrities -- such as her friend Selena Gomez -- Adam Levine, Grimmie's vocal coach from The Voice has also been extremely open in sharing his feelings about the unfortunate tragedy on social media, and according to Grimmie's brother, he has even gone so far as to offer to pay for her funeral.

When Christina Grimmie first auditioned for The Voice, Levine was blown away by her vocals.

After Grimmie was shot by a gunman in Florida while signing autographs for fans after a show, Adam Levine showed his support on Instagram.

Levine captioned the photo, "I'm sad, shocked and confused. We love you so much Grimmie. We are all praying hard that you can pull through this...this just isn't fair."

After it was reported that Grimmie had not survived the gunshot wounds, Levine expressed his sincere condolences to Grimmie's family on Facebook and Twitter.

Levine wrote, "Behati and I are absolutely devastated and heartbroken by Christina Grimmie’s tragic death. Our hearts go out to her family. Christina was a natural, a gifted talent that comes along so rarely. She was taken from us too soon. This is yet another senseless act of extreme violence. I am left stunned and confused how these things can conceivably continue to happen in our world."

Late Sunday night, Grimme's brother, Marcus, shared a touching update on his Facebook page, discussing the status of his sister's GoFundMe page and explaining that Adam Levine offered to pay for Grimmie’s entire funeral in addition to her mother’s flight to the event.

"I found out this morning, that Adam Levine personally called my mother and said he will pay for the funeral and her plane flight, and I was blown away," Marcus wrote. "Now a friend just told me to look at the gofundme page and I see it is at 100k. Words cannot express...literally I have no words."

"I'm so blown away by everything right now," he wrote. "But all I can say is thank you. And Christina will be missed and never ever forgotten."
